Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to use of NaVetor (the “Service”) and website at www.navetor.com (the “Site”) by authorized end users of the Service and Site (each, a “Subscriber”). The Service and Site are owned by Technology Partner Innovations, LLC (“TPI”). TPI makes commercially reasonable efforts to support compliance with the medical records management principles of the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). This Privacy Policy describes TPI’s privacy practices in relation to the use of the Service and Site and how information about Subscribers, their practices, clients and patients is collected and used. By becoming a Subscriber, a Subscriber accepts this Privacy Policy.

  1. Information Collected. TPI requires Subscribers to obtain usernames and passwords to use the Service, and to provide identifying information for the Subscriber’s profile. As a Subscriber navigates through the Service, information is collected, including; names, contact information, email addresses, phone numbers, organizational details, patient information, pet owner information, IP addresses, Site navigation information, usage and others. TPI does not store Subscribers’ or clients’ credit card information. Information collected during use of the Service may be stored in the United States or other locations.
  2. Use of Information. TPI uses data obtained from Subscribers to operate the Service. For example, Subscriber Profile information such as email addresses and phone numbers may be used to send Subscribers important notifications regarding their practices and patients. Supplying information to TPI, including any information deemed “private” or “sensitive” by a Subscriber, others, or applicable law, is voluntary on the part of the Subscriber. A Subscriber may withdraw consent to collecting and processing information at any time, by canceling the subscription. Please note that a withdrawal of consent and cancelation of the subscription will terminate access to the Service and the Site. After a subscription is canceled, TPI has no obligation to retain the Subscriber’s information, and my delete any or all of that information, in TPI’s discretion and without liability. TPI may retain information if TPI determines, in its sole discretion, that the retention might be necessary or advisable to prevent fraud or abuse, facilitate analysis of aggregated anonymous data, or comply with applicable law.
  3. Sharing Information with Third Parties. TPI does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide Subscribers’ information to third parties for marketing purposes. TPI may provide information to third parties with whom TPI has contractual arrangements to obtain services that support the Service or the Site. Whenever feasible, TPI will require recipients of such information to maintain the confidentiality of information obtained from TPI, and not use the information except as necessary to fulfill obligations to support the Service or the Site. TPI may provide aggregated anonymous data about the usage of the Service or Site to third parties for purposes TPI deems appropriate, in its sole discretion. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, will not share information with others, unless required by subpoena or other process of law, or as necessary to enforce this Privacy Policy or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Subscribers.
  4. Changes to this Privacy Policy. TPI may revise or update this Privacy Policy at any time, upon notice to Subscribers provided via the Service and the Site. By using the Service or the Site after TPI provide notice of changes, Subscribers will be deemed to have consented to the changed terms.
  5. Security. It is solely the Subscriber’s responsibility to protect the secrecy of the Subscriber’s login credentials that the Subscriber obtains from TPI to gain access to the Service and the Site. TPI uses commercially-reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information collected by operation of the Service and Site, including encryption techniques to reduce the risk of information becoming visible to others. However, since telecommunications networks and the Internet are not completely secure environments, TPI does not ensure or warrant the security of any information collected by operation of the Service and the Site. There can be no guarantees that information cannot or will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our administrative, technical or physical safeguards.
